Our Practice

How We Meet

We gather simply, following the pattern laid out in the New Testament. Here is what you can expect when you join us.

Weekly Rhythm

Our Gatherings

We meet each Lord’s Day morning and during the week for prayer and fellowship. Our gatherings are open to all and have no formal program. We come together to worship the Lord, to be nourished by His Word, and to enjoy one another as members of the Body of Christ.

The atmosphere is unhurried and genuine. There are no performances or presentations, just believers gathering around the person of Jesus Christ.

Remembrance

The Lord’s Table

Each Lord’s Day at 10:00 AM, we gather around the Lord’s table to remember Him. This is a time of worship, thanksgiving, and praise, centered on the bread and the cup as the Lord Jesus instructed.

Any believer may offer a hymn, a word of praise, or a prayer. There is no set order. The Spirit leads, and we follow. It is a simple, reverent time of remembering what the Lord has done for us.

Our Practice

The Prophesying Meeting

Following the Lord’s table, we have a time where believers share from the Scriptures for mutual encouragement and building up.

This is not a sermon from one speaker. It is an open time where believers may share what the Lord has shown them from His Word.

In 1 Corinthians 14, this speaking is called “prophesying.” This does not mainly mean predicting the future, but speaking for Christ and speaking Christ to others.

“What then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.”

“For you can all prophesy one by one that all may learn and all may be encouraged.”

1 Corinthians 14:26, 31

We believe every member has something to contribute for the growth of the Body.

A Note on Sharing

In this meeting, any believer may share something from the Scriptures or from their experience of Christ. There is no requirement to follow a specific set of materials.

At the same time, many in the church find it helpful to get into the same topics during the week. These can be used as a help, but they are not required.

Corporate Prayer

Prayer Meetings

We come together on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 PM to pray. These times are for the church, the community, and one another. Prayer is central to our life together, and all are welcome to join.

Home Life

Small Groups

Throughout the week, smaller groups meet in homes for fellowship, prayer, and deeper study of the Scriptures. These gatherings are relaxed and informal, a place to build genuine relationships and grow together in the Lord.

The Little Ones

Children

Children are welcome and cherished in our gatherings. We provide age-appropriate care and teaching so that even the youngest among us can begin to know the Lord Jesus in a personal way.

Our children’s time uses simple Bible stories, songs, and activities to help them understand God’s love and the truths of the Scriptures. We want every child to feel at home and to grow in the knowledge of the Lord.
